Rivals

Rivals is a 2-4 player, co-op game in which players have to race each other around the track and use pickups and world objects to eliminate their opponents from the race. The game is based on a dream of 4 racers that have been shrank into tiny cars that's heavily based around an 80's theme.

In this project I worked as a lead tech role. This required me to delegate tasks to the rest of my tech team throughout the course of the project, whilst making sure they stuck to the deadlines that were given.

My contribution on Rivals was mainly based around the UI elements of the game and creating some gameplay aspects like pickups and checkpoint systems. All of the work was created in UE4 and developed over a 6 month period.
